Birchensale is the 2nd highest performing Middle School in Worcestershire and the highest performing Middle School in Redditch.

SAT's results are important but need to be put in context of the school, the pupils and their prior attainment at Key Stage 1. The DCSF standards site provides the Contextual Value Added (CVA) figures which show how much progress our pupils make.
Birchensale's CVA is 100.5; this makes us the highest performing school in Redditch and the 2nd highest performing Middle School in Worcestershire, while we are 19th out of the 117 schools in Worcestershire taking Key Stage 2 SATs.
Assembly of Excellence
An Assembly of Excellence is held at the end of each term, in honour of pupils achieving a certain number of 'excellents' in their interim reports and being in the top 10% of their year group. Click here for details.
