The year 6 pupils researched the work of Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. One pupil said “ I think his work is very colourful and creative. I noticed that he often used some of his other work in different pieces and that he did his work on paper and created sculptures. The picture of him standing in front of his work is my favourite art piece of his because it has lots of colours. Another commented, “my favourite piece is the one with lots of faces against a red background – I think it is weird and wonderful.”
