With the end of the academic year now in sight and the government relaxing Covid-19 restrictions, we are now able to organise end of year activities. With this in mind, we have been able to book an end of year trip to the Boundless Outdoors Activity Centre, Bell Heath. Having run a trip to the centre earlier in the year, we already know this is an excellent opportunity for pupils to experience new and challenging activities. Pupils will be able to take part in a selection of activities, including archery, rope courses, team building, grass sledging and many more. The aim is to split the pupils over 2 days, with the trips running on 19th and 20th July 2021.
As a school we appreciate that more notice would have been ideal, unfortunately due to all of the Government restrictions in place we have been unable to confirm trips until now. We also appreciate that for many families the cost of a trip may seem daunting and with this in mind, the school will be covering the cost of the transport.
We anticipate that the trip will cost around £25 per pupil for a full day of activities. The purpose of this letter is to provide basic information about the trip, currently we are not asking for any payment. We will aim to have definitive plans soon after the Half Term break, when we will send out further information regarding exact costs and consent for the trip.
We really hope that all pupils in Year 7 will be able to attend. If you have any questions or queries, please wait until the final information is sent out during the first week after the half term break.
