This is the start of the Birchensale journey for our Year 5 pupils. Our main aim is to help pupils to transition from first school and settle happily into middle school. From September, pupils are introduced to new subjects and encouraged to become more independent. Year 5 pupils have access to specialist facilities such as composing and playing instruments in the Music Room and trying out lots of new sports. As well as this, Year 5 pupils take part in Forest School and may also choose to be involved in the School Council.
