At Birchensale we value the input of our families with their children and do send work home to support their in school learning. We have a homework club based in the Library for year’s 5 and 6 on a Monday 3.15pm to 4.15pm and for year’s 7 and 8 on a Tuesday from 3.15pm to 4.15pm. Although this is a free of charge club you do need to book your child into the club via your MCAS app.

The weekly schedule for homework is as follows: 

Core Subjects (English & Maths)	Once per week
Foundation Subjects (History, Geography, Science, RE, MFL)	Twice per half term
Creative Subjects (everything else excluding PSHE&C and PE)	Once per half term
